How We Started
Guidance from her teachers and inspired by her culture, Tara has developed a unique style. Staying true to her heritage Tara Keanuenue practices a modern art by integrating an ancient culture. The result is exemplary of what indigenous connections can produce.
We participated in our first Maoli Arts Market at Bishop Museum. Our successful sales fueled our goals to produce more authentic Hawaiian jewelry
Partnered with Master Weaver and designer Lufi Luteru, Tara Keanuenue was invited to grace the runway displaying her first Gallery Collection of one of a kind, Kumulipo inspired pieces.
At the opening for the PAI Arts Gallery at the Ala Moana Center, one of Tara Keanuenue's pieces took Best In Show for Hawaiian Jewelry. Her hand-engraved pieces are unique to her style and stands alone when compared to all other forms of Hawaiian Jewelry.
Style in Every Detail
Although much of Tara's inspiration comes from her surroundings, she is always happy to gain inspiration from her customers. Many of her patrons have stories to share about something that is special or dear to them. Tara taps into her creative energy to produce a uniquely crafted piece of Hawaiian jewelry. Each piece is hand polished to ensure the most subtle light is still captured in her art.
